Hazleton Paranormal Society
Gettysburg Training
After accepting some new members into the group, we were ready to get them into
training as fast as possible. After some circumstances out of our control, our
training night was cancelled. So after a few hours we decided we would take a trip
to Gettysburg to start training on an outdoors investigation. We investigated four
spots that evening including the triangular field, Little Round Top, a property within
the town and Sach's bridge.

On this night, the triangular field didn't have anything to offer, paranormal wise, but
we did have some activity on Little Round Top. Using our K-II meter we got some
responses on the meter as the lights lit up after some of our questions. We
expected to catch some EVPs at this location but ended up with just the emf
fluctuations.

At 10pm we left the battlefields due to the curfew and headed to some "after hours"
spots. We caught nothing but two drunk guys at a location within the town so we
decided to pick up and head to a well known spot in Sach's Bridge. On a Saturday
night, the bridge is far from quiet because it is a popular "ghost hunting" spot. So
we did what we always like to do and veer off the beaten path. We walked down
into the woods and found a good spot to hang out.

Throughout the night we experienced no activity other than a few "creepy" feelings
now and then. But we did find alot of crayfish. Upon returning home and reviewing
the data, the only thing we captured the entire evening was one EVP. We caught it
while we were in the woods at Sach's Bridge. You will hear an investigator ask,
"Can you say something?" as to which you will hear a reply of a long sigh and
"Why?". I guess the ghost or spirit is tired of being asked this question.

Not only did we catch an EVP but we got some really good introductory training
done. Our new members, Steph, Edie Ann and Tiff did a great job and can't wait to
see how they perform in the future.
